what we do

Product Design: developing products from sketch to full production

Concept development: initial concept studies, sketches (2D and 3D models), renderings, prototyping

Surfacing / master model: create ID master models within Creo offering full parametric control to quickly evolve designs and maintain intent throughout product development cycle

Mechanical architecture: develop part breakdowns and assembly strategies for manufacturing

Part design: specify materials, processes and fully design/detail parts for manufacturing

Supplier engagement: engage with suppliers/manufacturing partners early on to ensure quality/fidelity to the design, facilitate problem solving onsite at manufacturing facilities

steve berry founder + chief product designer

I have over 25 years of experience in product design and development and a successful track record of getting numerous products from concept to full production.  I have a strong background in mechanical design combined with industrial design sensitivity/instincts and have delivered full industrial design services to clients.  I work independently or as part of a team – typically fully integrating into client’s team.  I work collaboratively with manufacturing, EE, ID, ME, UX, marketing – any and all functions needed to accomplish the mission.

our tools

CAD: I have been using CAD since 1989. Creo/ProE since 1994.  Extensive experience with complex surface modeling.  Functional experience with other CAD tools: ALIAS, SolidWorks, CATIA, SDRC.  Keyshot is my preferred tool for rendering and animation.

Prototyping: 3D printing, paper models, fabrications are used early and often in my process to validate designs

Software: Creo; Keyshot Pro; Adobe Creative Suite; Office
